Show Synopsis

24 Hour Play Festival is a new theatrical event that is co-produced by Blue Demon Theatre and DemonTHON. In just 24 hours, playwrights, directors, actors, and tech crew put together a performance of never-before-seen theatre! All proceeds from the event will go towards Lurie Children's Hospital! Below you will find a tentative schedule of what will happen during the 24 Hour Play Festival.

Make sure to read the description and fill out all of the required information in the google form!

​Sign-ups are due by Thursday, March 2 at noon.

Schedule

Thursday, March 2
6:00 - 7:00 PM - Group meeting with all participants in Arts and Letters to form groups, go over details of the event, and answer any questions
7:00 - 10:00 PM - Groups break off to write their plays (we are looking for plays to be 6-10 minutes in length)

Friday, March 3 
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Arts and Letters classrooms will be open for directors and actors to rehearse 
TBD - Lunch and/or dinner will be provided
5:00 - 6:00 PM - We will have a dress rehearsal with the crew in the performance space 
6:30 PM - Doors will open for the audience (tickets will be $5 for students; they can buy online or at the door)
7:00-8:00 PM - Performance
